Tulsa's Brady District Ghost Sign

Brady District Ghost Sign

Nothing like ghost signs on old buildings and blue skies under a bright Oklahoma winter sun.

Your beautiful blue sky is so appealing, Yogi! The ghost sign appears to be in pretty good condition.

Nice. :) My Honey gets a kick out of taking pictures of old signs painted on brick walls. I don't think many of those are found in Norway where he grew up so they are unique to him.

Like something out of a Western movie..in beautiful technicolor (I'm really old!). I have a goal to find and photograph a good ghost sign!

Great, old ghost sign. We don't see many signs for kitchen appliances these days.

I do see some of these ghost signs when I roam around the old towns of northern California. Ghosts of a bygone era.

I like the angle of the shot where the words seem to coming right at you. Hmmm, I wonder if this hardware store is still in operations.

I have shot this wall a number of times but you give it such a fresh look. The term "ghost sign" is new to me too. I always learn something from you.

I like the perspective. Those faded wall ads have a way of looking immediate and somehow new.
