He is riding weekly at All Star Therapy in Ramona and they have him riding independently more and more. He is going from being a passenger on the horse to actively controlling and working with the animal. Sally, the name of the horse, takes a lot of working with. She gets irritated by the other horses and likes to bite them so SPB has to take charge and prevent her from doing that.
It is really fun watching him ride these days.

It's great the SPB is gaining such self-confidence that he is able to take charge. This is such a great program.

There is a riding therapy program in this area as well. A friend of ours is a volunteer. It is a great work and wonderful things happen there.
SPB is looking awfully comfortable in the saddle these days.

Too bad you guys don't live closer. We have a cranky, gray horse that could use a good rider like SPB.
