I've seen lots of people passed out in front of it over the years. Well maybe two or three in twenty years.
As some of you know, I work for natural gas pipeline company. So I'm really liking their gas meter. Sure looks better than standard utility company gray.

Perhaps outside the bar those meters should each have a sign: "This is not a chair." :\
Maybe a suggestion to the gas company to change to red.

It's easy for the meter reader to spot, that's for sure.
Around here we have "smart meters" ones that can be read remotely. The electric meters are read remotely as well, except those of us with solar, for some reason they must send someone to read ours. Perhaps it is because of the time of use metering we have.
Well, red helps to brighten a dull day! :)

The red meters actually brighten up the plain walls and their curves look like some abstract sculpture!
