"A Place in the World" by Mary Chapin Carpenter

I bought this CD used. It came out in 1996 but it is still great. She has such a soft silky voice and is very expressive. In the years since her voice seems to gotten a tad fuller and a little lower. She has matured very well.

I give this four stars out of four. Get it on itunes!

Check out her web site. She is still out there performing.

She's one of my favorites, Yogi. I just love her stuff. I like the music she's done that nobody has hardly ever heard. In fact, I just wrote a piece for my new Technorati gig that pulls a line from her song, Jubilee. When the post goes live, I'll send you the link. Jubilee, Grow Old With Me are two of my favorites - but many more.
